During E3 (the biggest video game conference) EA games wanted to promote their new game coming out in 2010 titled “Dante’s Inferno.” The way they did was pretty funny and upsetting at the same time. They hired people to ACT as Christian protesters who wanted the game banned. Read more about it here.
I was not upset about [...]

Is it wrong…
Is it wrong that my goal in life is now to own an iPhone? I mean the $80/month bill, the constant distraction of applications, my kids clamoring to use it for the games and oh ya the possibility of getting overcharged because I text way too much.
When I mentioned this to someone they said “that’s [...]

Love makes sacrifices
Lately God has been working on our marriage…it’s a good thing. I’ve been trying to really get my life straight while trying to be a husband who treats God’s child like a princess. Today was a good day for me. We were getting ready to leave our church from VBS today when Annie couldn’t find [...]

Forgiveness
I’m working on forgiveness. It is extremely hard. Something that helps me is 2 Corinthians 2:10 -

He would come up in between songs and explain a little of John 3:16 each time. Great way of keeping attention as well as a focus [...]

Too Fast?
I’ve been trying to slow my life down. My new kid really helped me with this. Especially as I couldn’t go on the spring break mission trip and now my wife said no to me going to India on a mission trip this summer. I need to slow down. The past three years I’ve been [...]

What’s Next?
I need to be careful with this post…Have you ever gone stale in where you are? I mean, we are just now starting to create a community of love and grace and sharing (still working on the serving). But lately, I haven’t had the passion I once had for this ministry. Craig Groeschel wrote a [...]

Chuck
Have you ever sat down and talked with someone who is homeless?
Since the end of the summer last year I’ve invested in a guy named Chuck. He came by our building looking for a bike from the leader of Chi Alpha, another Christian organization on campus. Since then he has been loved on by our [...]
